Songstress & TV presenter Dionne Bromfield loves her ADAM

It may be Valentine’s Day tomorrow but if you’re hoping for some hot gossip on the romance front, you’re out of luck. The ADAM in Dionne Bromfield’s life is the snazzy Vauxhall urban car she’s been given the keys to, now that she’s a brand ambassador for Vauxhall. The British car maker teams up with various influential celebrities from time to time and it’s clear to see why they were keen to get multi-talented Dionne on their team.

Dionne turned 19 this month and has already made impressive waves on the music and TV scenes. She is the late Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter and performed alongside her on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2009, shortly after signing for Amy’s record label.

A talented Londoner who perfects her abilities even further at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in Westminster, Dionne has performed at Manchester’s MEN (now Phones4U) Arena, the O2 Arena in London and at the 2011 MOBO Awards. Her musical career has seen her collaborate with Tinchy Stryder, their “Spinnin’ for 2012” track being chosen as the official song for the Olympics. Having already released her third album, Dionne’s career as a singer-songwriter is set to go on shining. Her on-screen talents have seen her co-present Friday Download on CBBC.

As if all this wasn’t enough for the young lady, she’s also into fashion in a big way and was made the face of Gio-Goi Jeans in 2011. In December last year, Dionne even went public with her plans to launch her own fashion label for girls aged 15 to 20, so they can dress as coolly as she does. Adventurous and edgy are the words she’d use to describe her fashion line ambitions.

The ADAM she is now driving around London in is a gorgeous red SLAM edition with leather seats, cruise control, tinted windows and her favourite feature, the infotainment system with its large colour touchscreen. Dionne says she loves her ADAM and “it’s absolutely perfect for whizzing around London and it’s full of gadgets. The infotainment system makes it really easy for playing my music and the hands-free calling means staying in touch with friends is easy.”

The clever IntelliLink technology means you can pair your Android or iPhone with the touchscreen in hardly any time at all and then use many of the phone’s functions and internet apps on the move. The Park Assist function automatically parks the car, CITY mode makes the steering lovely and light for driving around town and it’s even got Side Blind Spot Alert, making the ADAM safe, too.

Denis Chick, Vauxhall’s Communications Director says “it’s fantastic to be working with Dionne. As a young, modern artist with her own unique style, the Vauxhall ADAM is perfect for her. There are unlimited ways to customise your car, allowing individuals to design a vehicle to reflect their personality.”

Dionne has revealed her in-car playlist, with Marvin Gaye’s “Heard It through the Grapevine” in 10th place, Jill Scott Heron’s “When You Are Who You Are” (great taste!) in 8th, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” in 5th and the top spot taken by Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars’ hit “Uptown Funk”.
